Benjie Burris

Benjie is the owner of Frog Pond Performance and has worked in the automotive industry for 30 years. His priority is ensuring customers feel like family and that every vehicle is safe and dependable! As an ASE Certified Technician and shop owner, Benjie has a vast knowledge of the automotive industry. He is a co-founder of the Stanly Trades Apprenticeship Program and an ASTA Board Member. Benjie loves traveling, hunting, gardening, and all things outdoors! He feels that community and working with our youth is important and is an Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 202. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristy, and children Cody, Caleb, and Callie Grace.

Cody Burris

Cody jokingly calls himself a “jack of all trades, master of none” but we think he is pretty handy! Cody is an Automotive Technician and is the Service Advisor at Frog Pond performance. He has extensive experience with vehicles since he has worked in the shop with his dad, Benjie, since he was in diapers – literally! Cody enjoys meeting new people and building relationships with each person that walks through the doors at FPP! He is working to become the next generation of Frog Pond Performance and enjoys the family friendly atmosphere at the shop and collaborating with his dad and his teammates! As an Eagle Scout, Cody enjoys hiking and all things outdoors. He loves sawmilling, towing and recovery, traveling, grading, and riding his Harley in his non-existent spare time!

Bill Ayers

Bill is our “seasoned” technician! He has immense experience in auto repair as an ASE Certified MasterTech. Bill holds multiple certifications and enjoys sharing his wealth of knowledge with the next generation. Bill enjoys spending time with his wife, Rita, as well as his children and grandchildren. He is also an active church member and likes to “piddle” in his free time!

Callie Grace Burris

Callie is a determined and compassionate soul on an educational journey at Stanly Early College, where she will soon obtain not only a high school diploma but also a two-year associate’s degree. With clear aspirations to serve others, she plans on furthering her education and obtaining a nursing degree at Pfeiffer University. Fueled by her passion to help and care for others, she seeks to make a difference in the lives of those in need, driven by a heart that knows no bounds. She finds joy in spending time with her fiance, Gage. She enjoys exploring the beauty of nature through hiking, and camping. She cherishes every moment spent with her tight-knit family. She yearns to travel far and wide, experiencing the wonders of the world.

Bobby Brown

Bobby’s automotive journey began at Nashville Automotive Diesel School, now called Lincoln College of Technology. There he graduated in automotive studies with a heavy-duty concentration. He then worked at a Ford Dealership for two years, before diving into working on emergency apparatus. His passion for cars led him to work on vehicles constantly. Bobby’s love for cars continues to drive him as he embraces the ever-changing field of automotive technology, leaving a constant legacy of both skill and dedication.

Gage Johnson

Gage is an automotive enthusiast, studying at Central Piedmont Community College to earn a degree in Automotive Technology, fueled by passion and driven by curiosity. He enjoys spending time with his fiancée Callie, cooking, fishing, going to church, and hiking. He is an adventurous soul, and he loves to travel, especially in the mountains.

Wrecker

Shop Security/Quality Control/Greeter

Wrecker is FPP’s Lead “Shop Security.” He enjoys spending his time relaxing and watching others work, but he does not mind coming out to greet customers and vendors, especially if they have a treat! He is also our Quality Control expert – ensuring that whatever the team brings for snack or lunch is good to eat before we even try it! He is an expert treat taster, and he loves to give boxer hugs or the occasional wet kiss! Wrecker also enjoys riding alongside his dad (Benjie) and brother (Cody) on towing and recovery calls. In his free time, he enjoys meeting new people, taking naps, playing with his ball, chewing on toys, and hanging out at home with his favorite doggy friend Mya, and his best cat friend, Oreo.
