Let’s talk about the H•I•S•T•O•R•Y at Frog Pond Performance!

Get ready for a journey back to 2007 where Benjie Burris started it all!

-From fixing toy cars to real ones, Benjie’s car craze was like love at first sight! He found himself in a 2-door garage by a gas station, learning the ropes from a mentor who had a profound impact on his life from a very young age!

-Fast-forward seventeen years – Benjie took a leap of faith and decided to start his own business – Frog Pond Performance! He had no prior business background, just a heart full of determination!

-His career turned into something super epic! Benjie’s dreams and hard work revved up and led him to building a full-fledged NAPA Gold Certified Autocare Facility with 8 bays! What started off with one person now runs with a tight-knit crew, bound by pure excellence and a strong bond!

…But this post is not just about business. Benjie has a huge heart for his community, too! He’s a co-founder of Stanly Trades, which allows local high schoolers a chance to learn about the mechanic industry! He is also a member with NC Apprentice, which allows other people to learn the trade hands-on, too! He’s all about sharing the love he has for this, one wrench at a time!
