Benjie Burris

Benjie is the owner of Frog Pond Performance and has worked in the automotive industry for 30 years. His priority is ensuring customers feel like family and that every vehicle is safe and dependable! As an ASE Certified Technician and shop owner, Benjie has a vast knowledge of the automotive industry. He is a co-founder of the Stanly Trades Apprenticeship Program and an ASTA Board Member. Benjie loves traveling, hunting, gardening, and all things outdoors! He feels that community and working with our youth is important and is an Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 202. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristy, and children Cody, Caleb, and Callie Grace.

Cody Burris

Cody jokingly calls himself a “jack of all trades, master of none” but we think he is pretty handy! Cody is an Automotive Technician and is the Service Advisor at Frog Pond performance. He has extensive experience with vehicles since he has worked in the shop with his dad, Benjie, since he was in diapers – literally! Cody enjoys meeting new people and building relationships with each person that walks through the doors at FPP! He is working to become the next generation of Frog Pond Performance and enjoys the family friendly atmosphere at the shop and collaborating with his dad and his teammates! As an Eagle Scout, Cody enjoys hiking and all things outdoors. He loves sawmilling, towing and recovery, traveling, grading, and riding his Harley in his non-existent spare time!

Callie Burris Johnson

Callie is the Social Media Manager at Frog Pond Performance, where she uses her creativity and strategic thinking to grow our online presence. She graduated from Stanly Early College with a high school diploma and a two-year Associate’s Degree. Now studying Strategic Social Media Communications, Marketing, and Business, she’s passionate about making an impact in the digital space. In her free time, Callie enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time outdoors. She also loves baking and cooking, especially for family and friends. With a close-knit family, she values quality time with them and hopes to travel the world to experience new places and cultures.

Wrecker

Shop Security/Quality Control/Greeter

Wrecker is FPP’s Lead “Shop Security.” He enjoys spending his time relaxing and watching others work, but he does not mind coming out to greet customers and vendors, especially if they have a treat! He is also our Quality Control expert – ensuring that whatever the team brings for snack or lunch is good to eat before we even try it! He is an expert treat taster, and he loves to give boxer hugs or the occasional wet kiss! Wrecker also enjoys riding alongside his dad (Benjie) and brother (Cody) on towing and recovery calls. In his free time, he enjoys meeting new people, taking naps, playing with his ball, chewing on toys, and hanging out at home with his favorite doggy friend Mya, and his best cat friend, Oreo.

Ethan Kesegich

Ethan discovered us through the apprenticeship program that Benjie is part of at the school, and he’s eager to learn from the team. We can’t wait to see him grow and develop his skills during this apprenticeship! At just 16 years old, Ethan is a junior at West Stanly High School and has a deep passion for classic cars. His dream is to own a hot rod restoration shop one day, and we’re excited to help him take his first steps toward that goal!

Justin Arnett

Justin is an experienced automotive technician with over 12 years in the industry. He is committed to safety compliance, ensuring that every vehicle is not only efficient but also safe for our customers. As a dedicated professional, he takes pride in his work and values the trust of those he serves. Married and a devoted father of three, Justin balances his professional and personal life with skill. He loves to cook, especially enjoying the art of smoking briskets and other meats, which he often shares at family gatherings.With his strong work ethic and positive attitude, Justin is a valuable addition to our team. He brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm, and we’re excited to see the impact he will have as we work together!

Devon Honeycutt

Devon comes to us with an impressive background, having graduated from the NASCAR Technical Institute, where he excelled in the Ford program. With nine years of experience at a Ford dealership, Devon is master certified in both engine and chassis, bringing a wealth of knowledge that has already made a positive impact on our team. Beyond his professional expertise, Devon is a dedicated family man. He’s married and a proud father of four, and when he’s not sharing his automotive skills with us, you can find him in the great outdoors, hunting rabbits and deer, or fishing with his loved ones. Devon has a genuine passion for life and values quality time with his family above all. A food enthusiast, he particularly enjoys Mexican and Italian cuisine, often seeking out new dishes to try. We’re excited to have Devon on board, and we know he’ll bring even more joy and energy to our workplace!

Frank Thomas

With nearly 15 years of experience in the automotive industry, Frank Thomas is a knowledgeable and dedicated member of our team as a Service Advisor. He started his career in 2009, studying Automotive Technologies at Central Piedmont Community College, before transitioning from technician work to parts advising and service advising. Originally from Union County, Frank is a devoted family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. When he’s not at work, you can find him fishing, exploring the outdoors, cooking up something delicious, or playing with his dogs. He’s also a big foodie and loves trying new dishes—there’s not much he won’t eat! Frank’s passion for cars, customer service, and helping people makes him an essential part of our team. Isaac Nguyen

Isaac is a valued technician on the Frog Pond Performance team, bringing 4 years of experience in the automotive field to our shop. His strong foundation in automotive technology is backed by a degree in Automotive Systems Technology from Central Piedmont Community College. Dedicated to providing quality service, Isaac is committed to applying his skills and drive to ensure your vehicle performs at its best. His enthusiasm and technical abilities make him a key part of our team, and we’re excited about the contributions he brings to Frog Pond Performance and our clients!
